The Table
Definitions
Push/Standoff - A tie
Hit - Take additional cards
Stand - Stay with the card total you have accrued
Bust - A total over 21 that results in the loss of the hand
Blackjack - an Ace and any 10-count value card dealt as the initial two cards
Numbered Cards - Face value e.g. 2 ♥ = 2
King, Queen, Jack - All picture cards hold a value of 10
Ace - 1 or 11 – Keeps the higher value until it would otherwise bust the hand
Double - Double your wager and take a single card
Split - Double your wager to separate your initial hand into two (they must be two cards of the same value)
Insurance Where the dealers’ first card Is an Ace, a player may place a wager up to half their original bet, placed on the insurance line.
a) If the dealer draws a 10-count card in the Ace, the insurance bet wins 2-1
b) If the dealer does not draw a 10-count value card on the Ace, the insurance bet loses.
Let's Play
- Place your bet
- The dealer deals you two cards face up, and takes one card, also face up. If your two cards total 21, it’s known as blackjack. Wait to see what the dealer gets for his second card to find out if you won or whether it’s a push.
- If you didn’t get blackjack, you either hit or stand to create a hand you think will beat the dealers. If your cards total more than 21, that’s a bust.
- After all players have acted, the croupier will take cards until they reach a point total between seventeen and twenty-one or bust.
-
Compare your cards to the dealer’s:
- If the dealer’s hand exceeds 21, all players with 21 or less win.
- If your hand is higher than the dealers, without exceeding 21, you win.
- If you have the same total as the dealer, it’s a push—even if you got blackjack

Blackjack Side Bets
How to Play – Buster, Free Bet and Perfect Pairs
The aim of side hustles on a blackjack game is to increase your odds of a payout! With three easy options to choose from, you have to be in it to win it!
- Buster Blackjack is a regular blackjack game with an optional side bet that enables you to win with better odds whenever the dealer goes bust. The more cards the dealer pulls before they bust, the higher the payout!
- Free Bet Blackjack is a card game in which the player tries to beat the dealer. The special feature of Free Bet Blackjack is that the player can split and double down certain hands without having to place an additional bet.
Definitions
Push - A tie
Hit - Take additional cards
Stand - Stay with what you’ve got
Bust - A loss
Doubling - To double your original bet and commit to standing after taking one more card
Splitting - If your first two cards are of equal value, you can split them into two separate hands. You must place an additional bet, equal to your original wager, for your second hand. If you split aces, you get only one more card for each ace.
Free Double - The player can double on 9, 10 or 11 for free. Any other total can be doubled with the players' own money.
Free Split - The player can split any two cards of the same value for free except for tens which must be split with the players' own money.
A Perfect Pair - This is an identical pair. For example, you may have two Queen of Hearts – Q♥ Q♥
Coloured Pair - A pair that is made up of two cards that have different suits, but both cards are the same colour. For example, 8♥ 8♦
Mixed Pair - A pair that is made up of one red suited card and one black suited card. For example, 3♣ 3♦
Let's Play - Buster
If you want to participate in the “Buster” side bet, place a wager in the appropriate box. In the event you have a Blackjack and a wager of at least $5, you get access to the free bonus along with the odds paid for the dealer busting.
Let's Play - Free Bet
Doubling on Free Bet Blackjack: The player can double on 9, 10 or 11 for free. Any other total can be doubled with the players' own money. Splitting on Free Bet Blackjack: The player can split any two cards of the same value for free except for tens which must be split with the player's own money. Dealer pushes on 22 instead of busting
Let's Play - Perfect Pairs
A Perfect Pairs bet wins if the first two cards dealt to a player’s blackjack hand are a pair and it loses if they are not a pair. Perfect Pairs bets are made prior to any cards being dealt and must be supported by a regular Blackjack bet on the same betting box. There are three different types of pairs: a “Mixed Pair”, a “Coloured Pair” and a “Perfect Pair” and the pay-out odds vary accordingly.
